Medical expenses for Sally Holderbach

Hello everyone. I was one of the 7 victims shot in the Mesa Arizona drive by shooting that happened on Friday night, October 16th. My boyfriend and I had been waiting months to try out food from the popular taco pop up shop, Sabor A Mi. We waited in a long line for 2 hours and had just paid for our food and were waiting on the curb when gunshots started going off around us. I was hit in the foot by bullet shrapnel and had to get stitches as well as have a tiny piece of bullet pulled out of my foot. I’m currently on crutches, a boot, and 2 different antibiotics. Luckily no bones were broken but I’m not sure if my foot will have any permanent nerve damage to it in the long run. I’m now afraid to go out in public, especially parking lots. I’ve had trouble sleeping since the incident and noises startle me. I haven’t been able to return to work since I have barely gotten any sleep and my muscles have been in pain. I lost my dad back in July to Covid and was still in the process of trying to grieve him and emotionally heal and now I have to emotionally heal from this event as well. I’ve been experiencing panic attacks, depression, and just anxiety all around. This fundraiser will benefit my boyfriend and I since we will need to go through counseling, and It would help with any medical expenses that come from the situation.
