26.2 for Sindy
Donation protected
This past weekend we lost a truly special person to the awful disease of ALS. Sindy Weiner was one of the nicest people I've ever met. She had a profound impact on every person who ever knew her, and she left her mark on the world. She fought bravely to live a life where no matter what happened, she would be smiling. Her perseverance and positive outlook are things that should live on through everyone.
To honor her memory, I would like to raise money in her name. I am running the NYC Marathon on November 5, 2017. I had gained entrance to the race through the lottery. Despite that, I'd like to use this race as a way to contribute to an organization that means so much to the Weiner family. The Joan Dancy and PALS Foundation is a tremendous organization which serves ALS patients and their families in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. They provide direct grants for products and services to improve patients' everyday lives. Please help me support this cause and help improve the lives of many who continue to suffer.
Also, included is a link to Sinderella's Ball, which is an amazing event to benefit the foundation in Sindy's name.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
