Help Vera secure housing

Thanks so much for reading. My name is Vera and I’m a Nigerian college student living in Houston. I’m raising funds to ease some of my financials burdens while I continue to look for a job. Since the start of the pandemic I’ve been living on unemployment since moving out of my parents’ home. It was an unhealthy environment. Unfortunately Texas slashed benefits leaving me with only $100 a week to survive. As a result I’m at risk of losing my apartment while not having enough to feed myself. It has been very difficult and extremely taxing on my mental health. I’m asking for $4000 to be able to pay rent for a few months, fix my car, and buy a new laptop to make my job search easier.
