Trip to Germany/Aid to refugees

Mission trip to Bad Segeberg, Germany with Glamorgan Church from Calgary Aug 18-31, is to provide a helping hand with Syrian refugees who have made it to Germany, to assist with renovation work & to become acquainted with the Pink Door project in Berlin. This project has opened a safe house for women transitioning out of a life of sexual exploitation & trafficking. Spending 6 more days, exploring the country with a friend.
I have felt a strong tie to the German people since my youth. When I was 15, I visited the country with my family & always wanted to return in some context of mission work.0
In March, this opportunity became available with a group of people I have known for years.
$1500 I want to raise for the work in Bad Segeberg Church of God. The mission trip requires $2290 for air travel & our stay in Bad Segeberg. The extra six days shared with a friend for food, lodging, & travel will require $1500. Donations may be made to the Church of God in Western Canada thru PayPal @ https://cogwv.radiantwebtools.com/pay/donate-opts/. Charitable giving receipts will be issued thru them. Cheques may also be issued to Western Canadian Church of God Ministries which I can send to them.
This trip was not part of our budget now that my husband & I are retired seniors. But God has laid it on my heart that I need to go & trust Him for provision.
My desire is to reach out to those with disabilities & aging issues in this brief time, but also to open myself to a world I know so little about--human trafficking & sexual exploitation.
