Support for Peyote

Donation protected
A lot has changed in the last two weeks. After being told Peyote had a bowel obstruction we went to a second Veteranarian to get another opinion. After around 900$ in tests the mallody has been identified as Megaesophagus - https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951482 also known as ME

After receiving this diagnosis we have been taking every step to overcome the issue. Peyote is being fed in a Bailey chair that was donated to us by a family who lost their fight with this same disorder. She is holding food down better but is still lethargic and weak., but still wags her tail to go outside and wants to play fetch despite her weakened state which are good signs. The vet has stated that she believes the ME is a symptom of another disorder that is far more treatable. Myasthenia Gravishttps://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951980  also known as  MG. The total cost for the tests is going to be around 700$. We are hoping the results show this to be  MG  as around 60% of dogs can fully recover with daily medication. We are fighting the good fight and trying to keep Pey here and get her back to healthy. And with the help of our friends it might be possible to win. The smallest amount of help means far more than you guys know, and we understand if you cant donate. But if your willing to, please share this around so we can get the support we need to keep Pey  here with us and in the fight to be a happy dog.
