Puppies need your help!!

Hi, my name is Jason Able, 911 Executive Director for Shelby County, just over one week ago my dispatch staff took a call for a welfare check. While officers were at the residence the victim told officers that she had eight puppies that she needed to find a new home for quickly before something happened to them. Officers reached out to my dispatch staff and started the process to find a place for them to go but were coming up short due to the puppies being just only 5 weeks old. My dispatch staff contacted me to see if they could be brought to the center for the time being and my answer without hesitation was yes. One of my dispatchers stepped up to the plate and offered to take all of the puppies home and to rehome them for free once they were able to be able to be released on their own. Some of these puppies have skin issues which they are needing medicine for that.

This is where we are needing your help with donations so that we can get their vaccines, puppy food, puppy pads, skin medicine, etc. Some of these items have already been purchased so I would like to reimburse those that have spent money out of their own pocket for all 8 puppies. Having 8 additional pets in your household just means things are going to be hectic for a bit but it beats the alternative. Any donation will help these 8 sweet puppies.
