Help Stephanie get the medical care she needs

Hi! I started this go fund me for my Friend Misty and her daughter Stephanie. This is how Misty has described their situation for the past two years... Stephanie Clark is 17 years old and full of life, love and passion. When she was 15 she began having problems with her menstrual cycles. They became so severe the pain would cause her to stay in the bed or wrapped around the toilet throwing up for a week. As her mother I tried to seek treatment for her through a gynecologist but no one would touch her because of her age. I finally found one and they put her on the depo shot that was supposed to make it all better and it did fix the pain and vomiting but it caused her to become anemic and she would only catch a break 1 week a month after a year plus begging and pleading with the Doctors to try something different they kept telling us to give it more time and finally decided to try a different course of treatment and put her on the pill. The pill fixed the regulations of her cycle but the sickness came back with a vengeance. Helpless and hopeless as I watched my daughter start to deteriorate and the bathroom turn into her second bedroom I continue to pray for help to find out what was going on. My husband and I took her to 5 different hospitals as they continued to turn her away because this was “Normal” they would say. It wasn’t until her body was at the point of being so malnourished and dehydrated that she was days away from passing before Children’s hospital would finally admit her and attempt to run tests. At the end of the day they put her on a feeding tube and tried to tell us this was all psychological. The day they tried to send her home on a feeding tube she ended up throwing the feeding tube up. They kept her one more night to replace the feeding tube and watching and hearing your daughter scream and cry begging for the pain to stop as a mother that is the worst thing to ever have to experience. After replacing the tube and sending her home we ended up discovering the original feeding tube they left the wire inside. Thank God we did not end up home with the wire still inside. It has been a 2 year battle as we try to find solutions and answers and watch our daughters into skin and bones but she is still beautiful and one heck of a fighter but the exhaustion and trying to work more so that we can have the finances available to help her fight has definitely not only become endless but completely depleted and one struggle after another as we have to put her health first. This is definitely not how any parent would want there child to spend their senior year. Stephanie obviously needs to transfer care. We don’t know where that needs to be yet... Atlanta, Boston, maybe another place, but we do know that it will require money. They have already acquired many medical bills over the last two years and her parents have also had to take off from work. Any money that you could donate would be a great help.
