This fund has been started for our good friend, Jill, who is currently a sophomore at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL.
Jill has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma, and has had to put her eduction on hold in order to receive treatment. She had plans to live in an apartment off campus with her best friends, but unfortunately has to stay home in Orlando and not attend FGCU for a year.
Put yourself in her shoes, and imagine how hard this would be on you, and how you would react. Because of this, we're raising money to cover the cost of the rent for the first semester where Jill won't be able to attend FGCU. We do this because even though her life has been put on hold for the time being, we want to make her transition back to school as smooth as possible! Jill is a beautiful, fun, and caring individual that deserves to come back to school without skipping a beat!
