Dan Christiaens- Surrey Fire Relief
Donation protected
On Saturday, August 20th, a four-alarm fire started in a Surrey apartment and quickly forced approximately 100 people to evacuate their homes. One of these people was our friend, Dan Christiaens. Without having much time to react, Dan had to rush out of his apartment with just the clothes on his back. We are all very thankful that no one was hurt in this tragic incident and are grateful for the quick action of the Surrey Fire Department in evacuating everyone in time.
Dan has since discovered that all of his personal items have been damaged beyond repair. He is unaware of the state of his car, as it is in the water-filled parking garage of his building. In addition, all of the sound equipment that he uses for work has been destroyed; this sound equipment alone, totals over $15,000.
With no insurance and not much else left, we are hoping that we can raise some funds to, at least, help Dan with purchasing some new sound equipment to get him back on track. Dan is genuine, caring, and would always think of others before himself. It breaks our hearts to see him have to go through this. He’s managed to stay positive and only cares that everyone else impacted by this event is okay.
We greatly appreciate everyone who helps – every dollar counts. Thank you all in advance for taking the time to read this and help our friend Dan.
