Help Rona fight Heartworm Disease!
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Corona, but my friends and family call me Rona or Rona bear. My owners rescued me from a truck stop in South Carolina in March 2020. I was living off of Wawa Burger and whatever the truck drivers would feed me. My wonderful owners brought me to CT to help me find a home, and then COVID 19 hit. I started showing my owners how cute and well behaved I am and they fell in love with me. I don’t want to leave them. I want to stay with them forever. They’ve installed an electric fence for me so I can run around the yard with my brother Leo, put me on a Purina Pro Plan diet so I can get big and strong, updated me with my shots so I can play with other dogs, and fixed me so I don’t get my period anymore! Yesterday I came home from the vet and found out I have Heartworm disease. Heartworm disease is a serious disease that results in severe lung disease, heart failure, other organ damage, and death in pets, mainly dogs, cats, and ferrets. It is caused by a parasitic worm called Dirofilaria immitis. It’s going to be a really long and expensive journey, and my owners need your help! Like I said before, I don’t want to leave them, I want to stay with the forever, but they can’t do this on their own. All donations will go towards my vet bills. Please help me get better through this long 6-8 month recovery from Heartworm disease. Thank You!
