Little Rice family help as I get home

Hello everyone, I will be arriving home on Saturday October 10th just short of a month away from home. I have been diagnosed with CIDP "progressive" (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy). We do not know exactly what is causing it now but what we do know is it likely started in april after my pneumonia. This is something I will be dealing with long term taking medication or infusions to keep from "flareing" again. I will continue to have occupational and physical therapy and a home aid to gain back as much independace as I can. This will be a long road but one that can be managed woth hard work and some adjustments. I hope to be as independent as possible and the house as adapted and supportive as possible by the time Sarah has our second little boy in march. Our insurance is covering most of my rehab and hospital stay. I will be unable to work and am working with an advisor to get Social security. What we are asking for is just a little help only if you are able. So we can stay on our feet as we navigate what is happening. Our main concerns are bills, grocery and many adaptations I will need for me. I will need a wheelchair because insurance will not cover it even though I need it, it could be a long time before I get Medicare and a custom wheelchair. I need shoes that supports my feet and cause low neuropathy pain. Other things such as house adaptations and even in the future a vehicle adapted for my needs.
