Every Child Deserves Music

More than 5 million American public school kids don’t have access to music education. In a entire list of different aspects to cut funding, music seems to always be the first to go, even though given the choice, most people would keep music in the school curriculum. Unfortunately for most of us, we have little if any influence in the decision, so there’s a general feeling of powerlessness in stopping the cuts. My name Is Jayla Miller and I am a percussionist. I have over 8 years of experience in reading, playing and writing music. The funds for this campaign will go towards funding several musical instruments, music textbooks and also music lessons across the U.S to schools and students who need it the most! We have a duty to keep music alive in this day in age, Thank you!
