Sgt Oliver—DENNIS—has been a huge part of the Highland Village Police Department and the community of Highland Village since 2003. If you’ve ever met him, you will never forget him! His smile, his kindness, his desire to always go to the extra effort to serve! We know he has so many relationships and with the support from his wife Toni, we created this site to let everyone know not only what has happened, but also to post updates if you become aware of new information.
During the week of September 21st, Dennis developed pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. While in the hospital, he suffered a stroke(s) and is currently intubated due to those complications (still as of Sep 29th, noon). We know that friends and community members will want to reach out and help him and his family in so many different ways! Please feel free to start here with kind words of encouragement for him, his family, and all of us who are in this together!
Within HVPD, Cpl David Harney ([email redacted] (mailto:[email redacted])) will be coordinating our efforts to assist the family and deliver any items that are dropped off and or donated. If he becomes aware of anything specific, he will post it here. For starters--I know that PRAYERS will be greatly appreciated by Toni and the family! Thank you for your support! Chief Reim
This GoFundMe is being organized through the Highland Village Police Department by Commander Sheri Morrison for Dennis's wife (Tonie Oliver) and his boys. She will be able to use these funds to assist in any needs generated through the loss of Sergeant Oliver and they will be available directly to her through your generous donations.
