Post Memorial: Personal Headstone

Shai'India touched the lives and hearts of all she met.  Shai'India lost her young and beautiful, life on July 10, 2020, due to domestic violence.  On July 24, 2020, under a beautiful tree and next to her beloved Uncle and Grandmother, she was laid. Shai'india will never be forgotten. 

I (Sharnell Harris, Shai'India's mother) created this post memorial Gofundme page to achieve accomplish two tasks:

(1)Purchase a Personal Headstone to honor Shai'India Harris  
(2)Promote  and support local Domestic Violence Prevention and Awareness efforts 

During the month of October, Shai'India 's loved ones,  domestic violence advocates, and myself aim to participate, join and/or share ~in multiple Domestic Violence prevention (I.e. safer skills and resources) and awareness events (I.e. virtual platform, controlled distancing). Please share resources and/or invite us to events, I'd enjoy getting connected to collaborate solutions!!

In working to prevent domestic and other forms of violence and abuse, I hope to promote and empower healthy attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors within the community.  Specifically, I want to uplift healing and resiliency within BIMPOC (Black/Indigenous/Mixed/People of Color) communities. For survivors. For victims. For those at risk. And For abusers . We know that hurt people hurt people and healed people, heal people. Thank you for your passion and fearless courage, Shai'India's siblings and I are truly grateful for all of the support.
