Pray for Tay/Play for Tay

Tuesday, March 19th began as a typical school day for my 16-year-old niece, Taylor Renee Hardley.  Taylor arrived at school and was chatting with friends when she suddenly felt ill. Her friend Jaime Smith rushed her to the school office where moments later Taylor suffered a brain hemorrhage/aneurysm. Ever since that day, Taylor has been facing a long and challenging road to recovery.  As family, friends and teammates know, Taylor is a fighter.  She is a strong and resilient competitor as every batter that has faced her on the softball field knows all too well.  But Taylor is not just strong, she is also witty, silly, fun and beautiful inside and out.  Most important of all she has a kind and generous spirit.  She always is there for her friends, and so family and friends have rallied to help her win this battle and defeat this injury.  Her parents, David and Tina, are fighting side by side with their daughter every minute of every day, with their sole focus on the here and now.  This Go Fund Me account has been established by several incredible softball coaches and individuals who want to ensure that Tina and David can continue to focus on Taylor’s full recovery, free from worry about financial concerns due to lost income, medical costs or other unexpected expenses.
