This campaign is put together by the Smith Kids. Janell, Travis, Troy and Joshua were 4 of the 7 nieces and nephews Mark held dear to his heart.
A very unexpected accident happened with my dear uncle Mark. He passed away over this last weekend from what is said to be unexplainable, but natural causes. The family nor friends had no opportunity to say their proper goodbyes. We are hoping to be able to contribute to the costs of putting together a proper Memorial in Honor of my Uncle Mark. Please note that all proceeds will be used solely for the purpose of carrying out Mark Baker’s amazing and selfless legacy.
Mark was different than the rest of our family in many enjoyable ways. He was outspoken, outgoing and the life of the party. Every time I saw him he would say “hi mama bear” and give me the biggest hug ever. Uncle Mark has enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, golf, amongst many other things that fulfilled him in his life. He was such a kind hearted man, and always tried to make the best of every situation.
Mark ran his own successful business, in which his 2 brothers, Mike and Todd were a part of, and in this very hard time they both could also use the help financially with the remaining business costs, as well as the loss of work.
We are very sad and heartbroken that he has left us all so soon. Heaven has gained a great Angel, and we will see him again soon. Please help with whatever God puts on your heart, it is greatly appreciated.
We will all miss Uncle Mark every day of our lives and wish he could be here to have been more BBQ’s, camping trips, and fishing trips with, but we know you’ll be doing all that up there. May you Rest In Peace Unc! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
