Help Family who lost home in Hurricane Sally

We are a family from Florida. Unfortunately, hurricanes find their way here and cause havoc. In 2018, the eye of category 5 Hurricane Michael pounded the land of Panama City and surrounding areas. Michael took our home and tore it to shreds. We were forced out of Florida, away from family and friends, and moved to Nevada with extended family for a year. Once on our feet, we moved back to Florida to be with family once more. Hurricane Sally made its way to Panama City on September 14th, 2020. Torrential rain for two and a half days came with it. In the early hours of Wednesday, September 16th, 2020 - the rain made it into our house. It began to flood and quickly took over. By 7AM, the water was almost to our knees in our apartment. We had to come to the realization that we have lost our home, once again. Our mattresses were destroyed. Our clothes became contaminated due to all the sewage water released in the flood. Couch, chairs, tables - all furniture ruined and destroyed. Our family cannot stay in the apartment, and are currently staying with friends who opened their doors to us during this trying time in our lives, again. We have created this gofundme to raise funds for moving our family into a new home. For apartment/home deposit, first month’s rent, and fees to turn on power and utilities, as well as replacing beds and other necessary furnishings.
