Official Tasheona Jones Memorial Fund

On September 15, 2020, a mother life was shattered by the tragic passing of her beloved daughter, Tasheona Jones. This family watched in absolute heartache as a man described himself as a “maniac” glorifying and posting numerous videos that showed confession, evilness, and no sense of remorse of killing two innocent people, that began to spread quickly through social media. These babies lives was taken so sudden, they had their whole life to live. Tasheona, was a 25 year old, ambitious college student at Indiana Tech University, majoring in Engineering, she had 3 credits remaining and was expected to graduate in May, 2021 with her Master’s degree. Mother was notified that Tasheona was granted her Master’s Degree on September 17, 2020. She was truly loved, blessed, strong and a determined young woman full of dreams to achieve. This tragedy has broken this family, has broken a mother and broken a bond between her siblings that will never be replaced. On, September 16, 2020, Michael Mayfield was captured by authorities, this family can know try to gain clarity, peace and continue to give this baby the best home-going she deserves. This fund is established for any and all who have reached out on how they can express love and support to this family at such a devastating time.
