DETROIT OREGON FIRE HOME AND ALL POSSESIONS LOST

Hello My name is Desiree and on September 8th my retired Father and his wife lost there Mobile Home and all possessions due to the Santiam Fire at Detroit Lake, Oregon. This was there primary residence, not a vacation home. It’s all they had. At 1am they were awakened by Fire Marshall’s telling them to Leave IMMEDIATELY grab nothing and LEAVE NOW all power was out they grabbed there dog, car keys and left with literally only the clothes on there back. They have gotten confirmation that there little home and pick up truck is all gone. This picture IS THERE property and truck. There is absolutely nothing to salvage. They are in there 70’s retired and this was all they had. They both worked hard all there lives Dad working for the city of Salem and them moving to Alaska until they retired and bought a little mobile home in Detroit it was there dream. They are on a fixed income and are absolutely devastated! They don’t even know where to start. Red Cross has put them up in a hotel for now. Anything will help! Please Please help this couple rebuild there lives. The funds will go to general living costs and hopefully getting them another mobile home. Anything will help. Thank you Sincerely, Desiree Hart
