Help Sparkles survive this Pandemic

Hi Guys and Gals and all our Facebook Family, we all know it has been a terrible year for us all and the World has been put on hold. I think Everyone thought it would last for a few weeks, but for us it has kept us closed for 6 Months, with nothing coming in, only Money going out as Bills did not stop in these times. We had some money for Emergencies put aside but for small Emergencies like maybe a slow month or two, not 6 Months Closed, so that went very Quickly, we then took a Government Loan as that was the only help offered, and that is very nearly all gone. Restrictions were lifted slightly and some Tourists started coming, all the Restaurants started opening then Bars and then some Show Bars and all seemed to be doing ok. We decided to try and open, which took 2 weeks to Prepare the bar to Comply with the Covid Safety regulations. Our First night went really well, lots of Friends who live here and some bar owners came to show Support. The Second Night, well what can we say, the Police at our door, not once but Twice, Most of you saw the Video which said it all, we all felt Crushed, for Two weeks we were cleaning, arranging a Company for Health and Hygiene to tell us how to put all tables and Chairs, Stickers on Floor, Sanitizers and Signage, we thought we had it all covered, everyone commented on how good we had Complied with all the Rules and Regulations, but after the second Police visit, this Spoilt the night making Customers feel uncomfortable and Leaving. The next day there was new rules from the Government, all Show bars and other Bars with no Kitchen Serving food had to close, and even now we have no news, so we are not sure what will happen this side of the year. COVID 19 is the invisible war that we are all fighting, it has affected and taken its toll on us all. A Friend of Sparkles Lisa Rogers set up a GoFundMePage for Sparkles Showbar, we had Mixed feelings and emotions about this but Thank You Lisa Rogers, she reminded us that we had done a lot for others in and out of the Yumbo over the 12 Years, raising well over 100.000€ for different Charitys and Organization’s like, ACES, BREAST CANCER, KIDS WITH CANCER, ALS, PET PALS, TARAS and the GLAY COMMUNITY through Sparkles Showbar and our ever growing Sparkles Family. So this is the Difficult part, Andi, James and Dinah, don’t want to give up on Sparkles Showbar but Finances are running very low because of this situation, so our only other Option and our very last Resort is to put up a GoFundMePage in the name of Sparkles Showbar, Andi and Dinah will take charge if it, if we don’t ask for Help to see us through to the End of the year, then it will be Impossible for Sparkles Showbar to continue on as one of the Show Bars in the Yumbo Centre, which will be terrible for us all. The Money would be to Cover Outgoing Daily Bills, Social Security Contributions and Something for our Landlords til the end of the year, we think if we can Survive this Year then next Year will be good for us all. Our Landlords have been Fantastic throughout, but like everyone, they also have Bills to Pay. We have never asked for help before and this decision was not made easily believe us, but we all feel that it is our only and last Chance to Save Sparkles Showbar and hopefully Bounce back next Year, It may seem we are asking for a lot, but Realistically it is the only way we can continue and have Sparkles still here next year for everyone. The GoFundMePage that Lisa Rogers did Start will be Deleted as we said we will Open a New Sparkles Showbar GoFundMePage, Some 52 people did Donate to the page Lisa Rogers had Put up, this money will be going into the Sparkles GoFundMePage when we Open it. We are Thanking all that can Help in Advance, and hoping everyone stays Safe and we all can look back in a few years and Laugh about this whole Situation.
