Don protégé
On July 18th/19th, Sophie and I will be running just over a mile every hour for 24 hours straight in the hopes of completing a marathon in this time. We are doing this to raise money for our friend Grace, who is currently battling a rare form of brain cancer.
Grace's cancer is inoperable and she needs a specialist drug called Everolimus which is not currently available on the NHS. Due to this, the family has had to self fund all of her treatment which at the moment costs around £6000 per month, plus other medical bills. It is vital that Grace gets the money now as there is no time to waste.
Me and Sophie have known Grace's sibling's through cadets for around 4 years now, however only met Grace when she joined after being diagnosed. During the 2 years of knowing Grace, she continues to inspire us every single day with her strength and commitment to everything she does. Although it is impossible to understand what Grace is going through, we want to do all we can to help her get the treatment she needs as soon as possible!
Please donate whatever you can, and share this as we want to give Grace the best chance at beating this horrible disease.
Thank you so much,
Ella Bradshaw and Sophie Hockin xxxx
