Mijoshki "JOSH" Antwon Evans Memorial Scholarship

Hello everyone. For all of you who knew of and donated to our previous GoFundMe drive for Josh Evans and his family, we want to thank you again. We raised more than $7,000 for Josh's expenses incurred during his extended illness. Josh fought long and hard against not only cancer but Covid19 in the end, as well. His battle ended on February 4th and a Celebration of his Life was held on Saturday, February 13 in his hometown of Valley Alabama at the Stadium where Josh played his four years of high school football.

To honor Josh's life we are establishing The Mijoshki "JOSH" Antwon Evans Memorial Scholarship to assist at least one deserving student from his high school, Lanett High, as they prepare to go on to further their education. The objective is for this to be an annual opportunity. The amount of $1,000 will be to assist a deserving young man or young woman attain their educational goals after high school. 

Although we are only in the beginning phases of setting up this scholarship, our aim is to name the first recipient later this year for the fall semester of 2021. This is where we need your help. Won't you consider a donation to keep Josh's memory and legacy alive? He would be so proud to see a scholarship in his name for a deserving high school senior from Lanett High. He would also have a huge smile on his face as he said, "THANK YOU SO MUCH"! We all thank you very much.
