Help with Final Expenses for Ralph Porter

Hello, Friends and Family of Ralph, This is Jessica Plaut, Ralph’s fiancé. Ralph and I met over three years ago in a beautiful spiritual community online. We spent hours talking to each other daily, and found ourselves in love with each other. The moment he asked me to marry him, it was clear that we were meant to spend the rest of our lives together. We never grew tired from each other...we called ourselves time folders...we simply did not notice the time flying by... Time flew by, three years, and Ralph put his last saved dollars on a plane ticket and made his way 7, 150 miles to me here in California, literally a day before COVID hit the world. We sheltered in, deciding to play it safe. We had magnificent adventures here in Northern California (He’s ironically from Northern Ireland) and time flew by again. Suddenly, one day, Ralph fell down. He fell down in my restroom, unconscious. I immediately called an ambulance, which came and took him away to a nearby hospital. I waited forever-four days-without being able to visit or see him-having to leave him alone, because of COVID, before I heard what had been found. It was a tragic diagnosis of end stage cirrhosis. Eventually, Ralph came home. I nursed him back to a place where we could have some hope again, but it was short-lived. He had developed severe complications that had him in and out of the hospital, getting weaker and weaker, until finally we decided together, that enough was enough. We cried together about what had happened to him, and we bravely faced the future together, whatever that would be. I made sure that he had everything he needed to be comfortable, and at peace. When Ralph fell down, his dreams with me fell down too...we had dreams of working together to bring our mutual talents and gifts to the world. It broke our hearts that we had to put them aside and help him to deal with the unexpected ending of his life in a matter of months. He did find peace here with me...he had a deep and abiding love for me which blew me away with its light and kindness, and soulfulness. He was a very unusual soul-a fount of wisdom and joy, and bright and sharp humor that had me rolling with laughter, even during the dark times we faced together. Ralph crossed the Thresh-hold peacefully on Monday, the 24th of August. But, alas, Ralph’s illness happened so quickly, he accrued some bills that need to be paid, and his final expenses for the funeral home. I am appealing to all of his friends and family to help me with the finances.I opened my heart and my home to him and gladly supported him during his months of convalescence, and then decline. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Can you find it in your heart to help me now? It would be greatly appreciated. I want to bring him home to Northern Ireland eventually, to his final rest where his family can have the closure they deserve with him. Thank all of you for your kindness at this time. I will receive it with great gratitude and humility. Sincerely, Jessica Plaut
