24 Hour Charity Walk

Donation protected

What are we doing?

On the 13th September 2021, we are attempting to walk 50 miles across the Cotswolds in 24 hours. Our attempt will start and finish at midnight, and we must carry all food, water and gear with us for the entire journey.

Who is it for?

We have decided to split our fundraising evenly between two charities: The Ocean Cleanup Project and Unicef's Covid-19 Appeal.

The Ocean Cleanup Project aims to remove 90% of floating plastic by targeting the most polluted rivers and oceans. They do so by incorporating technology and innovation to remove and recycle vast quantities of plastic pollution.

Unicef is a charity devoted to providing children with clean water, food, vaccines, education and protection from violence. Their Covid-19 campaign aims to vaccinate poorer nations so that they can continue their work protecting children worldwide.

Both of these are amazing charities, but in the current climate they are desperately in need of our support.

What will my donation do?

Every £20 given to this fundraiser (£10 to each charity) will pay for:

  • Three people to be double-vaccinated.
  • An entire football pitch of plastic waste to be cleared from the oceans.
