Help Black Trans Youth Secure Housing

Helloooo, my name is Qwayed (they/he) and I am almost always struggling financially. Due to my mental disabilities, toxic home environment and my continuously racist/ableist/transphobic work spaces, keeping a job and being able to stay at that job for more than a few hours at a time has been nearly impossible for me the last couple years. I have not been able to develop a savings and I’ve felt stuck and alone for a long time. I’ve been in a constant cycle of not being able to work because of my home environment, but not being able to leave because I don’t have an income. My mental health is spirally downward. I finally decided to reach out to my community for help. With this money, I’ll be able to put a down payment on a place as well as being able to pay rent/groceries for a few months while I search for a job that will accommodate my needs and accept my identity.
