Queen’s BBQ COVID Relief Fund

Hello Love’s, we are raising funds for Queen’s BBQ and Southern Cuisine COVID Relief as we all have been faced with the hardships that have been multiplied by the COVID-19 pandemic, we come to you humbly praying that you might be willing to help us save our restaurant. We are a community hub for all, since opening January 31, 2020 we have been feeding the homeless members of our community and honor roll students from the kindest of our customers and supporters. COVID-19 has rocked our world, our communities and our lives. Unlike the most businesses we were not eligible for any of the relief loans or grants due to one simple qualification we have not been in business at least a year. We are some days breaking even and some days we take a loss due to the changes we’ve had to make to keep our customers and community safe and our “doors” open. We are barely able to pay our bills to keep our space secured and the lights on. We have had a lot of support from our Royal Court Family (our customers) and they are doing all they can to help however, with a space too small to social distant we are still unable to open our lobby to guest. We are forced to curbside deliveries and advance orders placed on Facebook so we can make sure we have items for guest and they can receive their orders in a timely manner. We are a small mom and pop restaurant and at most have 4 people total in-house to keep us running smoothly. We are no longer getting that foot traffic and impulse guest, the 1000’s of state employees are not at work across the way from us and business is not good for us. We will continue to try to just hold on and not lose it all, we will still be super positive and hopeful, we will continue to make the best of a bad situation, until we cannot any more. We are currently behind every bill at our home and behind on several important bills to keep the restaurant up and running. We need your help, anything you donate will help us big or small. With your help we will be able to catchup on outstanding bills and continue our feed the homeless and honor roll program for school students. We will be able to help with folks that have food insecurity as our motto is “Everyone Eats at Queen’s”. We will be able to keep our doors open and grow with our community as our #1 priority. They say if you are able to make it though your first year of business, you more than likely will succeed. We are trying to make to though our 1st year of business and tackle the effects the COVID-19 pandemic has had on our 1st year of business. We can’t do it alone, we need some help. We were raised on nothing beats a fail but a try, we don’t want to fail and this is us trying to provide a win for our community. We were told if you don’t ask for help, no one know that you need help. Together we can, alone we won’t be able to keep moving forward.
