24th Woodend Scouts Allotment Fund

Thank you for taking the time to view our story We are the 24th Woodend Scouts, we officially opened in June 2019 and took on our own allotment In October 2019, we have been on a huge journey preparing our allotment for our young people. Unfortunately due to covid 19 we have been unable to meet with our young people and have missed this years growing season and due to leaders shielding our allotment became a jungle. Since lockdown has lifted we have made huge strides towards the allotment being a safe and friendly place for our young people with the help of a number of different groups. Due to us not being able to host meetings and taking the decision not to charge our young people and their families subs during a very difficult time we are now in desperate need to build funds to help us continue our work, preparing the plot for next year, purchasing tools, building a new seating area and developing our community area and sensory garden. Any help is much appreciated and will help us educate our young people and create the next generation of gardeners and allotment owners. Thank you for reading our story
