Hello I am starting a go fund me account to raise some funds for Jolene Kings Children whom are struggling to make ends meet after the Tragic Loss of both their Loving and caring Parents. I knew both of them well but Jolene was Special, you could see the passion she had in helping her Brothers and Sisters in the fight for a fair and equal treatment for all Indian Health Service Employee’s. My mother, Jolene King lost her battle against Covid on August 1st 2020
Jolene is a Mother of 3, a wife, a daughter and a sister. She is Apache and Hopi, born and raised in Phoenix, Az.
My mom is the most loving person you'll ever meet. She always lend a helping hand if you need it or just to talk. Her smile was always heart warming and welcoming. She worked at Phoenix Indian Medical Center for a few years, She went to work for the Capital for some time then returning back to PIMC - from their she worked her way up to Liuna. She loved helping others who needed help or getting the word out. Some days weren't easy, some days were hard for her, that didn't stop her for helping her community at work. She believe fighting for her people.
I am so proud of her and of all her accomplishments and all the hard work she has done to get were she is at. She met so many kind people an made new friend along the way as well made new family along the way. She is one strong women, she is our super hero. Our Wonder Women! My dad, our father would say she is Apache Strong!
She is now joined with her loving husband Chester King whom lost his battle against Covid on July 15th 2020 - Brittany, Kiana & Jared K.
