I need your help. My family needs your help. I've never considered raising money for anything because I haven't had anything important enough make me think about asking for money. However, this situation is different. My brother lives in Berlin, Germany and a couple days ago he fell two stories on the floor of an old children's hospital.  His friends couldn't find him for 45min and then  called the ambulance. The ambulance took another hour to find him and extract him from the building.  Firemen had to take extreme measures to get him out of the building because he was in an almost unreachable area. He is in the ICU with head trauma, a hematoma on his kidney, punctured lung, compound fracture on his left forearm, fractured clavicle, fractured C5 and T11 vertebrae, 8 broken ribs, blood in his lungs, and air in his thorax. They had to put him in an induced coma at first but now he is on pain meds. He hasn't really woken up and when he has, its only for a few seconds. He doesn't remember what happened and why he's there.  He had surgery on his compound fracture and apparently it went well. He is still in the ICU. My mom, Tami, went to Berlin and arrived there this morning at 3am EST (Berlin is 6 hrs ahead of EST). My brother is not my brother right now. He is confused about what has happened and every time he wakes up the pain overwhelms him. He is in an unbelievable amount of pain and although my mom is there, she needs help. All in all, I am asking for your help so I can be there for my brother and my mom. My brother, Ben, requires constant care at this point, more help than my mom can provide him by herself.
