Supporting the Drake Family

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I request support for the family of Kaitlyn Drake. Her Mom has been one of my closest friends for nearly 25 years. Although the pain is unimaginable, the family wants to be transparent with Kaitlyn’s story in hopes that it may save others. She is a beautiful, intelligent, loving 24 year old. The kind of person that can light up a room. Kaitlyn has struggled with addiction for a couple years. Despite being clean for 8 months, she recently gave way to temptation for the last time. Kaitlyn has been hospitalized for the past 12 days, but sadly the damage to her body is too great. She will be transitioning to comfort care tomorrow. As her family attempts to prepare for the days ahead, please consider helping them with some of the financial burden that will soon follow. Kaitlyn’s family; her Dad, Mom, Brother, and Grandparents are the kind of people the rest of us strive to be. They are always willing to help a friend no matter the circumstance.
