Help for my Grandfather in the Philippines

Donation protected
Hello to all I am reaching out to all kind hearted souls out there. I know this is a hard time for everyone in the world but i am here knocking to anyone for help. My grandfather is a kind hearted man, him and my grandmother raised me when both of my parents needed to work for my future. He has been a teacher all his life in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, PH. He already retired years ago. But he is still trying to be active as a scout master, he loves being outdoors and be with people that shares the same passion as him. Unfortunately, he was just hospitalized today in the Philippines, approximately 1pm EST (1AM Philippine time) 7/22/2020. He had a mild stroke and we were told he would need to go and have a CT scan to rule out any blood clots since he could not open his eyes anymore. He is still responsive but through his hands. He lives in a small City that doesn’t have any available CT Scans at the moment, he needed to be rushed to the nearest City that’s about 4 hours away from where he lives, thus making the process even more longer. He also has an underlying prostate cancer that we just found out today as they were trying to put on a catheter. And he now needs to be in the ICU (we don’t know for how long) They are asking us for 50,000 pesos ($1,000+) for the downpayment And a daily 40,000 pesos in the ICU And this is just hospital bills, the payment for scans and medications are not included I am asking for any amount of help, as a single woman living alone in the US, away from all of my family in the Philippines. The burden of not being able to see my family is a different kind of pain. Me and my family are doing our best to help pay for the expenses but we cannot handle everything that is needed. Unfortunately Philippines does not have a payment plan option, if we cannot pay the money, there will be no medical attention that will be given. And PhilHealth (Philippine Medical Insurance) will not start paying for help, if the patient is still in the hospital, they will carry medical expenses after he is released.
