Jan Bertolet - Cancer Support Fund

Jan Bertolet was unexpectedly diagnosed with brain cancer this Summer.  Most of us know Mrs. Bertolet as a dynamic 2nd grade teacher at Exeter Township School District’s Owatin Elementary.  She is always working to positively impact student lives both academically and in their overall childhood development.  She and her husband, Joe are both beloved teachers to the students they instruct at Owatin and to the faculty they work alongside.  They have three young boys Brady (2nd grade), Kolby (Kindergarten), and Connor (2 years old).

As you can imagine, the diagnosis, surgical procedure, and treatments Mrs. Bertolet has endured and continues to face are both overwhelming and intimidating.  Notwithstanding she and her family are working hard to stay positive every day.  If people like you join with us, together we can form a ‘small army’ to stand with the Bertolet family and support them in any way possible as Mrs. Bertolet battles to beat this cancer.

This fund is set up to raise money to directly help the Bertolets in a variety of ways: transportation expenses to and from treatments, medical expenses, gifts and gift cards for the children to help brighten their day as they see their Mom fighting this cancer, along with many other needs they will have along the way.  Small donations are just as meaningful as large donations and the Bertolet family is grateful for anything you are willing to contribute.
