Imagine expecting your first child with your wife all while your wife fights for her life.  This is the case with our dear co-worker and friend, Mitchell Fessler.

While attending the police academy, Mitchell's wife, Kerrie's heart condition took a turn for the worse and she was not expected to live to give birth to their daughter.

Amazingly, Kerrie gave birth to a healthy baby girl and Mitchell graduated from the academy.  During his extensive training program, Mitchell had to deal with both the stress of learning a dangerous and mentally heavy job and help care for his severly sick wife and their newborn.

Last month, Kerrie took a turn for the worse and Mitchell was off work for weeks.  With all of his vacation and sick time exhausted, Mitchell had no income for his family.

Yesterday, Kerrie suffered a heart attack and Mitchell is again off work, with no income.
