Xander Irvine was tragically killed in a horrific accident in Morningside, Edinburgh on Tuesday 30th June. Xander was just 3 years old. He was such a happy, beautiful, sociable and truly perfect little boy who brought so much joy to the lives of everyone that knew him. Xander’s parents, Victoria and Paul, are utterly heartbroken and devastated. Their lives will never be the same again. He will be so terribly missed by all of the wider family circle both here in Edinburgh and in Northern Ireland. Xander’s mummy, Victoria, is originally from Northern Ireland and is a wonderful primary school teacher devoted to her pupils and her career. Xander’s daddy, Paul, is a true Edinburgh man and works for Edinburgh Council with pride. Victoria and Paul are truly wonderful parents. Xander will be laid to rest in Morningside Cemetery, close to his home. This is a special place as he often took walks, bike rides and played here with his mummy and daddy. Victoria and Paul will be able to look out of their window and wish him goodnight every night. Whilst there is nothing that anyone can do to ease the grief and suffering of Xander’s family, we feel that if we can ease any financial burden faced in the aftermath of this tragedy that this will give some sort of comfort. This fundraiser has been organised by friends and neighbours of Xander’s parents who live close to them in Morningside, Edinburgh. The funds raised will help support Xander’s family for leave from work or anything else that they need to help them at this time. Xander’s parents have consented to this collection and the money will be sent directly to them via GoFundMe.
