Dave & Kay Partain have dedicated the past couple decades helping others in far East County - now it's time for us to band together to help them after they lost their home to fire.
On May 1, 2016, a series of unfortunate situations caused their home to burn to a devasating degree - Kay said, "It's a total loss."
Due to budget cuts, the closest fire station to thier rural Knightsen home was closed. When the closest fire engine and water tender arrived, they found a downed PG&E wire preventing access to that side of the house - PG&E had to be called to cut the wire. On the other side, a propane tank hindered their access. These are just a few obstacles the fire department had to deal with - ultimately it was the perfect fire storm.
While insurance will cover a majority of their loss, there are still deductibles, animal care due to their displacement, and other items that they'll need which aren't covered by insurance.
PLEASE donate anything you can - $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 or more to help this FAMILY OF 4 during their time of need.
