In lieu of birthday gifts of toys and clothes, we are asking our friends and family to put that money towards helping with expenses for Shelbie's upcoming surgery.
As some of you know Shelbie was diagnosed with a CCAM (a mass on her left lung) at our 20 week ultrasound. We were checked weekly to ensure her development. We have always known this mass needs to be removed, but our specialist wanted to wait until she turned 1 to put her under for the MRI and surgery. These masses have a tendency to become cancerous, so you can understand why we want it out!
