Medical Expense Fundraiser For My Dog KunSan

This is KunSan. A wonderful Carin Terrier Pit mix dog that has brought life and joy to everyone around him. Abandoned by his owner 3.5 years ago me and two others took this loveable ball of joy as our own. With his birthday weeks away we were devastated when we found out he had digested something he wasn’t supposed while he was home. What started out as some minor discomfort and weakness turned out to be worse. He began to hover over the water bowl and we knew had to act fast. My girlfriend being a dog groomer had a good hunch we needed to go now. So that same day we took him to the hospital. We went to Nutley Animal Hospital and he got x ray radiology done and a emergency exam. They recommended we go to Oradel Animal Hospital which was also nearby in New Jersey. KunSan stood the night as they put him on fluids and would be monitoring him. The next day they called us and said he would be needing a Gastronomy a ultrasound and more. They found a foreign body in his stomach lodged and there was no way for him to pass it as it inflamed his pancreas. We spoke with them and decided to go forward with the surgery as they were also not sure how much time he would have to live. The surgery was successful and within a day and a half he was back with his but is very achey and just sad overall. It was shocking and saddening to see a dog with so much life, who could leap 6-8 feet in the air be so weak and out of it. We were told the bill would be anywhere from $3,000-$7,000 depending. Which was very much out of our range as due to Corona and being furloughed at work. This was not including the $312 which we paid at the first hospital for the x rays. A huge burden we had to face but when it comes to a life, a brother, a family member we knew we had too. This is where you come. It has put a significant financial burden on us especially at this time. We apologize, Hayley Dayton and I for writing such a long post but we thought we would be as thorough and up front as possible considering we are looking for financial help, donations and such. We are only looking for help with the second hospital which cost were at $4,000. We aim to raise the full amount but any bit will help with the cause. I have a cash app but not sure if that’s the ideal way to go about it. We will continue to update this post with his recovery and update am the post with any contributions.
