Hi! My name is Kami and I’ve been medically transitioning for two years now. I work extremely hard to save up money for my gender affirming surgery, but due to severe dysphoria and depression holding down a steady job is extremely difficult. As a Black trans woman in the deep south, Bible Belt, I constantly fear for my safety and health. Gender confirmation surgeries are medically necessary, but unfortunately are not covered by most insurances. Any help or donations will be extremely appreciated, and if possible I’ll try to reach out to people who donate personally to send a private thank you. Help is needed, but PLEASE do not feel pressured to donate if you can’t at the moment.
