215 Too Many

Join me in making a difference.

My name is Jana Wilson and I'm inviting all to join me to help any way they can to make a positive impact in the Indigenous community in Canada in light of recent events.

Recently, the remains of 215 children were found in an unmarked grave in a former residential school located in Kamlooops, B.C. In light of this horrific discovery, and as the country mourns this loss, I wish to do something to honor the children whose lives were unfairly  taken from them.

Info on the event

Therefore, in or the month of June I will be running 215 kilometers for each child whose remains were found. The goal is to raise money to benefit NATIVE COUNSELLING SERVICES OF ALBERTA, and any donation will help make an impact.  The NCSA is an amazing non-profit organization in Alberta that has many programs, including ones that support residential school survivors.
