Family Owned Small Business Affected by Looting
Donation protected
We have all seen many heart wrenching stories of how the recent riots and looting have greatly impacted many small business owners, which includes Kim's mother. As many of you know, Kim's mother has owned a small shop in Philadelphia that she has operated for about 20 years. She operated on small margins and was without insurance due to other rising costs. It is basically a total loss. This comes on the heels of her suddenly losing her husband not that long ago to Leukemia, and this has been emotionally devastating to her. As she has dug into it, the loss is more staggering than initially thought as just the cost to replace the door and repair the shutters is significant. We know the times are challenging right now for many, but if you are in the position help, then please help us restore her hope and peace. Whatever is raised over anything needed to help get her back on her feet we will make sure it goes to other small business owners affected in the community around her shop or throughout the country.
