My altruistic idea...a friend in need...

I bring this opportunity to my friends and family to help out someone that is near and dear to me. 

My boss. Yeah I said it my boss. I love that crazy chick! Best boss I have ever had! 

As most of you know, I got my little red car Lola about a year and a half ago, and have finally gotten her on the road! Well in my research on three wheeled cars, I became interested in cushmans and mailsters and what not. 

This is where my boss comes into the picture. She lives on Vashon island, commutes everyday to Burien. When she saw my little car she thought it would be perfect for the ferry! Reason being they are considered motorcycles. Which means about half as much as a car. Not to mention first on, first off of the ferry as well. 

So here I am asking for some help to get her idea into a reality. 

My boss has had  some fairly serious financial things come up that she would probably kill me to let everyone know about. 

Lets just say it has to do with mounting medical bills and medicine for her eight year old daughter. 

So I have been occasionally surfing for little cars for my boss. I would present them to her and she put down all of them. It dawned on me that she couldn't afford one. Sigh. 

So I came up with this idea!

Here is where the selfishness comes to mind. 

I want one too. And you all know I'm just a poor old massage therapist. :).

But seriously.....

My Boss could could really benefit from this crazy idea of mine!

I have found a guy in Des Moines, Iowa that has the same crazy passion, artful weirdness, that I have! 

Look up Tuk Tuk Goose chase. Well he is selling some of those cushmans!!!

The mystery van is for sale. $1750!! Plus shipping$???

If I can only raise enough for the van I plan to give it to my boss. 

If I can raise more??? 

Then I can get one as well!!! 

BUT REALLY, LETS MAKE THE VAN HAPPEN FIRST!!!!

I don't need one, I just want one!  :)

Turn into an ice cream truck? Second summer job? The possibilities abound!!

So please help. 

I think this would be the coolest thing if we could make this happen!
