We are hoping to reopen our post in the wake of COVID-19 and the ill health of our beloved commander who will not be able to return to his post, but very much wishes for it to continue on. The pandemic has canceled all Memorial Day fundraising and closed our canteen. We will have to purchase insurance, a permitee license, and catch up on many utilities before being able to reopen under new and exciting leadership. After that we hope to support local veterans suffering in the wake of a pandemic and will be proud to have the opportunity to do so. If you are unable to donate consider volunteering for a deep cleaning that will be done before we reopen under a strict nonsmoking policy. Please keep our area veterans and dear commander in your prayers and renew or sign up for membership with the post or auxiliary if you are eligible as the spouse, siblings, children and grandchildren of those who supported a foreign conflict.
