Groundbreaking new research on Twitter has revealed that hungry Brits can feed themselves with 20 meals for just 70p this winter. With Tesco selling 1kg bags of oatmeal at this price, it’s clear that this profound breakthrough could eradicate food poverty for good.
Therefore, I am raising money so I can buy loads of these oatmeal bags and then take them to food banks so I can dish them out to people in the queue.
When they are handed these magical mini sacks that will completely eradicate hunger for them and their families, they will realise that ‘the Left’ has been wrong all along. I have helpfully compiled a meal plan to show how far 3.5p per meal can really go.
Meal 1: Porridge / Gruel. Take 50g of oatmeal, and eat it.
