2022 Ben Nevis Fundraiser

On Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July, a group of Burnley Leisure & Culture staff and Burnley Rounders Club players will be taking on the mighty Ben Nevis to raise money to provide free swimming lessons for the children of Padiham and Burnley.

Why have we chosen free swimming lessons for our fundraising efforts? Every child should be given the opportunity to learn to swim! Swimming is a fun and relaxing way to keep active and healthy but more importantly it’s a vital lifesaving skill that every child should have.
