2021 BC Parent Survey Open Access and Data

The 2021 BC Parent Survey is comprised of a number of concerned parents, teachers, and citizens from British Columbia that have come together to conduct an additional survey within BC. This survey will provide for contextual factors that were not considered in the original SPEAK survey within BC.
The funding asked for is strictly for a 3-user account on SurveyMonkey, which will allow for unlimited responses and multilingual surveys. Given the vast diversity within BC, this is incredibly important, as is assessing how well the pandemic information has been provided in other language across BC. As the account has to be purchased annually, the full cost has to be paid upfront. This will allow us to keep the survey running throughout 2021.
We have also created and will be maintaining a website devoted to updating BC parents, teachers, and students on peer-reviewed findings related to COVID-19, the new variants, and children and schools from across the global. The site is under development, but can be viewed here. bcparentinfo.com
Outside of the survey costs, our members have been covering the remainder of the costs for the project.
