2020 St. Katherine's Bedouin Embroidery Project

We at Studion Ministries are seeking to raise money to help the impoverished Jebeliya Bedouin of the Sinai, and St. Catherine's Monastery. We will use all funds raised by this fundraiser to pay the widows of the tribe (formerly organized by Abba Moses of St. Catherine's) to sew and embroider tote bags and other items which will then be sold in the Monastery's bookstore to tourists and pilgrims. All proceeds earned from the sale of the bags and other handicrafts will then go directly to the Monastery. The materials and transportation costs are already paid for, we just need to raise funds to help pay the widows a fair wage for their work. By donating to this fundraiser, you will be directly assisting Bedouin families in deep need as well as help support one of Orthodoxy's holiest and most historic sites.
