Help An Afghanistan Hero

My name is Mike Rizzo. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2019 with Operation Freedom Sentinel. While I was overseas, I had the honor of serving with many great Afghans. The most inspirational among them was a man named Rahmani. Ramami, (he preferred to go by 'Jay') was a member of the National Mine Reduction Group, an elite EOD organization dedicated to protecting US service members from IED threats. Jay personally saved my life, and the lives of several of my men on numerous occasions. He quickly became, and still is, a friend to all of us that deployed with him. Jay was able finally able to get an immigration Visa to fulfill a dream of coming to the United States with his wife and two children. Unfortunately, Jay is unable to afford plane tickets; and with his visa expiring in a matter of months, he is unlikely to be able to raise the money on his own. I'm attempting to raise $5,000 to give to Jay so he can come to the United States with his wife, his son, and his daughter. After faithfully serving the United States for over 8 years, saving countless service members from IEDs, and proving he is a trusted friend, I want nothing more than to help my friend make a better life for himself and his family.
