Gallier Family Needs Your Help!!
As many of you know, Ray Gallier (friend to so many) suffered a devastating brain stem stroke at only 41 years old that left him unable to walk, talk, or perform any activities of daily living for himself. His only communication, due to locked-in syndrome, is eye blinks for "yes" and "no." Ray has to have around-the-clock care, as he cannot be left alone. His wife, Tisha, tirelessly continues to care for Ray and their children every day without complaining and rarely even asking for help. So I am reaching out on their behalf because they are in desperate need of financial assistance. Money was raised two years ago to help, but it has now run out due to the astronomical costs of Ray's extensive medical needs. Also, if there is any hope of regaining function, lots of rehabilitation is needed, of which insurance pays very little.
In addition to medical and rehabilitation needs, money is needed to convert their 60 x 40 shop (built by Ray just before his stroke) into a suitable living space for he and his family, as he is currently confined to one small room that was added onto their mobile home after his stroke. This new living space would not only allow him to be moved freely around the house and be near his wife and children, but it would give him an accessible shower instead of only bed baths.
Ray was always so giving of his time to help others prior to his stroke; let's all come together and help him now!
