2019 MHARF Trainers' Challenge

Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation's Trainer's Challenge, an annual training competition that helps our rescued horses get adopted; horses are far more adoptable if they are trained. Trainers volunteer their time and expertise to train horses in our program, and then they compete for prize money in the Trainer's Challenge on Saturday, September 7th, at the Leatherdale Equine Center on the University of Minnesota St. Paul Campus. The many people who help put on the show are volunteers; the money we are collecting is to help cover the cost of putting on the show and to provide prize money for the competing trainers.

This will be the 12th Annual Trainers' Challenge and all of the horses competing this year have come into our program from humane cases. Over the past eleven years we have had an adoption rate of nearly 95% for horses who have participated in the Challenge. It has been a very successful tool for finding homes for these special animals.

The Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that has been dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, retraining, and re-homing of equines in need since its founding in 1994.  For more information about this organization visit: https://mnhoovedanimalrescue.org/
