In June the Berkowitz Elementary School will be holding its annual school-wide Field Day!
To hold a successful Field Day we will need to raise vital funds for our students. The Berkowitz school population of students is hardworking, intelligent, compassionate, and thoughtful. Despite all of these positive attributes, Chelsea is not without its challenges. Unfortunately, our students come from an underserved community where nearly all students qualify for free lunch. Our students also face many social-emotional barriers that impact their learning. They commonly struggle with poverty, acculturation, trauma, family separation, and homelessness.
We have a large fundraising goal of $2,000 that we need to reach by the end of May to fund our Field Day. All year our students put in tireless effort to succeed. This day is to celebrate all the hard work they have put in all year.
Any amount donated will get us closer to our goal, no donation is too small! Every dollar raised will go back to our students.
Here are some ways your donation will help us!
$1 - Slush for one student
$6 - A Field Day t-shirt for one student
$15 - Slush and a t-shirt for two students
$25 - Slush for one class
$55 - T-shirts for 10 students
$100 - Slush for a whole grade of students!
$125 - Field Day Sponsor- Your name, business, or a message of your choice will be displayed on the back of every field day shirt!
$150 - T-shirts for one whole class of students!
$200 - Slush for two grades of students!
$500 - Slush for the whole school!!!
$550 - T-shirts for a whole grade!!!
